Facts and Figures: Informal settlers in the house

The problem of informal settling or “squatting” has been a major issue that the government still addressing today. There are actually many Filipinos who still haven’t and can’t afford to buy their own houses and lots. This result to informal settling where some of them are building their “to-be-called a house or home” in a private property or even government property that is sold without their knowledge. And this surprises the informal settlers that one day after they stayed for a number of years, they will have to experience a forced or self demolition and let go of their memories in the place.
